What’s Beautiful? Your Right to Vote!
This has been an eventful week in Lazy Land! We tried on (and found) the perfect pair of jeans, we were fitted for bras, and we even managed to post a few recipes.
We think the highlight of the week was our What Not to Wear post! From all the comments we received, we think you would agree. So, what do you think girls, should it be a recurring post? Would you be willing to be our roving photographers and submit pictures? You have to promise to be inconspicuous when you take a picture though. We don’t want to embarrass anyone, We promise to always blur faces to protect the fashionably challenged.
It was such a busy week we may have received a record number of tips this week. It must be that prize from Kiss My Face that you girls are angling to win!

What's the Most Beautiful Tip?
- On the subject of Beauty Tips, this is my favorite solution to shiny, oily skin. My makeup is fresh looking for only a few hours in the morning, then the oil slick T-zone starts to appear. I used to just keep powdering from a compact, but by the end of the day my face looked like fondant on a wedding cake! I bought some of those little tissue papers from a department store that have powder on them, but realized the powder was still too much and the papers were very expensive! Then I found the perfect solution: Perm wrap papers from any beauty supply store! A box of 1000 papers will only set you back a couple of bucks. Just press one paper to your shiny skin, and watch that paper absorb all the excess oil! You can do this all day long without caking up your face! (57.0%)
- Temporary beauty trick: To tighten legs and butt for an important event or day at the beach, rub generously with an unscented hemorrhoid cream. (Yes, it works!) (29.0%)
- My beauty shortcut is shower caps!! My husband travels every week and so I'm lucky enough to have an endless supply of these handy dandy thingamagigs for free (Lazy Mom extra point since I don't have to go to WalMart/pay for it? Just thought I'd give it a try girls...). Anyway, I'm always hoping for the Bridgette Bardot(young, fresh Bridgette, not older Bridgette with all the cats and stuff), just woke up from a fabulous late night party in Paris kinda look and it just doesn't happen with freshly washed hair so....I confess my good looking hair is really dirty hair. I use the shower caps to make sure the rest of me is nice and clean (I'm not into THAT kind of dirty, dirty you know..) and get good dirty hair in the process!! (7.0%)
- MASK!!! You should use a mask at least twice a week! It's easy and simple. Your makeup will stay on longer during the day and your face looks fresh!! Masking takes all the dead skin off your face. Do you want to go around with dead skin on your face??? Mask it off!! If you need help remembering when to do it, do it on trash days or church days - Sunday and Wednesday!! (5.0%)
- Ojon Rub-Out Dry Cleanser (Sephora--instead of washing your hair, spray on your roots and comb through. AMAZING! I could never skip a day of washing my oily hair until I found this ) (3.0%)
