We received this Lazy Mom Confession from Diane Y. and thought it was worth passing along to you!
My confesssion…. I have 2 boys ages 12 and 8. I buy most foods that they can cook. I show them 1 time what to do, that tell them to read the directions. I het my dinner cooked for me at least 2 times a week. There is nothing better then being served dinner made by my sons. Lazy YES, Stress free even better!!!
Thanks, Diane! Any tips or confessions that you want to share? We have to help our fellow Lazy Moms out so we can all get more done so we can have more fun!! Leave a comment with your best cooking tip or confession!
I recently found this great website that I thought you should know about. It’s www.usakidseatfree.com. You click on your state and your city and it shows you restaurants in your area that offer kids eat free. This way, we can be Lazy Moms and eat out instead of cooking!
Keep a large pair of good strong sissors such as cutco, in a drawer near your cooktop. You can snip fresh herbs, green onions, chicken cutlets, fish fillets,or whatever you like, and avoid cleaning up a cutting board.

Moms are always the ones getting stuck in the middle of the night having to do the midnight changing of the diaper!!
My lil guy used to soak through even the best of diapers so I started layering the crib so mattress, water proof pad, crib sheet, water proof pad, crib sheet That way you yank off the top layer and put them back in their bed

You are back on your way to catch a 2 hour nap before they wake up again!! submitted by Brooklyn M.
To get kids to help around the house, we came up with a chore system. We have a dry erase board that lists the daily mandatory jobs (making your bed, feeding the cat, etc). We also have a list of optional chores that each have a monetary value. The kids can earn up to $5 per week doing optional chores. Once they get their money, they must divide it between savings, spending and giving envelopes. submitted by Lisa C.
