Taking Care of Business

What an awesome week talking about parenting followed by a fabulous Mother’s Day!  We received some great tips, but the winning tip is:  When talking to your kids, try as hard as you can to ask open ended questions (questions that can’t be answered with 1 word) or statements. For example, instead of “Did you have a good day at school today?” say “Tell me about your favorite thing that happened at school today.” Hopefully this will encourage communication between you and your little ones and if you start it when they are young, maybe they will confide in you when they are teens!  submitted by Kim M.

Congrats, Kim.  You win this darling necklace donated by Janene.  Janene has so many beautiful things to choose from you really must go check it out!indulge-u-necklace

Kim, drop the Lazy Moms an email and we will get you connected with Janene so you can get your necklace.

The topic for this week is saving money.  In these tough economic times we all need to cut corners, but for a Lazy Mom this can be tough.  I am looking forward to seeing all of your great tips and tricks for pinching pennies!  The winning tip will receive the Spa Time Baby Cozy Care Cape.Spa Time Baby

Even if you don’t have a little one at home, you probably know someone with a little one and anyone would be thrilled to receive this!

So, submit those tips for saving money!  We can’t wait to see your ideas!

We use cloth diapers also, which does save a lot! I only go to town to the store once a week! No unneccessary spending then. I go in get what I need using coupons!
