I used a tip from one of our readers and I am so excited to tell you about it. Our school starts Monday and I had all 3 kids go thru the school lunch menu and tell me which days they want to buy and which days they want to bring their lunch from home. Now each morning and I don’t have to wait for the kids to decide. I know how many lunches need to be made. I could even make them the night before and sleep …

Well, it’s Sandra Lee time again. And, the title says it all. I had big plans for this post. I also had some pre-conceived notions about this meal. My big plans were that I was going to let the little darlings help me cook. They beg all the time to help me in the kitchen and I am just too darn Lazy to let them. When they help in the kitchen, it makes a bigger mess for me to clean up. …

Buying your meat in bulk, and seperating to put in the freezer is no big secret, but putting the marinade in with the meat when you put it in the freezer is a big time/money saver. Simply, put the meat in the fridge to defrost, and it marinates at the same time. Really makes dinner a no brainer! submitted by Ivy H.
What a great tip! Thanks, Ivy. I am going to try this!
Don’t forget to enter our giveaway! You have until Saturday night!

Beef Stroganoff was something that my Mom made quite often when we were growing up. I have only made it a few times and I’ve been trying to figure out why. I’m torn between I forget about it and all that sour cream is not good for a girl’s figure, but, nonetheless I made it today.

When I was cutting up all that chicken the other night in preparation for our Sandra Lee day I had a few extra chicken breasts thawed out so I started thinking about dinner for the next night. I wanted to put them in the crock pot so I could just plug it in the next morning and know that dinner would be ready. I looked through a few cook books and couldn’t find a recipe that sounded good. I also couldn’t find one that would not require me going to …
