We mentioned last week in our News Alert section that we had a new advertiser here on Lazy Moms. Spa Time Baby. The ladies over at Spa Time Baby were nice enough to send us one of their most popular products, the CozyCare Cape.

This company knows what it is doing! I shop online pretty frequently. After all, I’m Lazy! As soon as I opened my mailbox I knew this was a quality operation! Just look at how the CozyCare Cape comes packaged in the box. The Cape is in a beautiful organza bag and tied with a bow. It is then packaged with care in the box for shipping.

I don’t know about you girls, but I always worry when I order a gift online for direct shipping to the recipient. Will it arrive in good shape? Will it be packaged nicely? Will they be careless and include the receipt, therefore telling my friend exactly what I spent on them? All of these things matter. Presentation is so important when giving a gift. It tells the person that you care, that they are worth your time, that you want them to be happy. The packaging from Spa Time Baby does all of these things.

Enough about packaging. Let me tell you about the Cape. I remember bathing my babies. When it was time to pull them out of the tub I would tuck a towel under my chin and try to hold it there while I picked my little one up out of the water. Usually, while pulling them close to my chest, the towel would slip out from under my chin and land on the floor. There I was holding a slippery while wet little baby. I remember trying not to drop my little squirmer while bending over to pick up the towel. The CozyCare Cape takes care of this for you.

The towel secures around your neck like a cape. So simple! Now you don’t have to worry about dropping the towel. When you pull your baby out of the bath you can immediately cradle her to your chest and stay dry at the same time. This is obviously a product invented by a mom! I think this is the perfect baby gift, or gift to yourself!

Go check out all the cute products over at Spa Time Baby. They come in several different colors and can even be monogrammed! This is a product that the Lazy Moms can appreciate!

Before my babies were potty-trained I would occasionally let them run around without a diaper on. We’ve all done it. You know…let them get some air down there, catch a little breeze, air things out. I thought that had to feel good on their little bottoms.

One evening at bath time this Lazy Mom had both kids in the tub (two for one!). Grace was 4 and Quenten was 1. I finished with Quenten first and pulled him out of the tub and dried him off. I decided to let him walk around in his birthday suit while I finished bathing Grace. I know…lazy.

All of three minutes later I had Grace out of the tub and dried off. I handed her a pair of panties to put on and turned around to put a diaper on Quenten. The little bugger was gone. I called his name…no answer. I looked in the bedroom…not there. I looked in the hall…not there either!

I came back into my bathroom feeling very confused. I knew he was there, but why wasn’t he answering me? Just then I heard a little noise coming from my closet. A little Quenten noise to be sure. I walked into my closet and there he was. Looking like he was almost hiding in the corner.

My brain slowly started to register the details I had missed at first glance. He is still naked. He really is hiding in the corner. His face is bright red. He is squatting. That noise I heard was a grunt and I just heard it again! You guessed it! The little stinker was pooping on the floor of my closet! I yelled so loud for him to stop. I am sure it had the opposite effect and just served to scare the rest of it out of him!

Moral of this story my fellow Lazy Moms is also my tip for today…Never, and I mean NEVER, let your baby walk around without a diaper on his cute little bottom! That is unless you are prepared to do some heavy duty spot removal!
