Soak It!

As a lazy mom, I often use the crock-pot. But, I hate to clean it. I fill the empty dirty, stick on gunk covered pot full of water, a dash of soap and a used fabric softener sheet. The next morning I use the fabric sheet as a scrubie, and off all of the gunk comes! Very Lazy, indeed!! submitted by Philicia

Or you could buy the Reynolds Slow-cooker liners. THEY ARE AWESOME! Just line your slow-cooker/crock-pot fill with your favorite dish. When you are finished with the meal just toss the bag and wipe down the inside of the crock-pot with a paper towel… and clean up is done! Once I tried this product I have never used my crock-pot without it.
I use the same method minus the fabric sheet but it sounds like a great idea. I know that they do make special bags you can put in there & just throw it away when you are done cooking but I use my crockpot too much to buy the expensive bags all the time.
Thanks for the great suggestion!
Wow! Thats a great tip. I will try that the next time I use my crock-pot.
