I think we need a topic on marriage. This is one of the hardest roles I play each day. It seems that I can never do anything right and am always trying to be more. It might be nice to have a forum.
Great idea LazyB! I was cracking up, over at Surburban Turmoil she was talking about all the things her hubby does to gross her out and everyone was commenting. It was hilarious! And gross! Thankfully my hubby doesn't do anything gross!
I know it's hard to get everything done. But don't put any extra guilt on yourself. There are only 24 hours in a day and our kids need to remember us playing with them! Not just how clean the house was!
Have a Lazy Day!

I am not one of those women that went into marriage thinking it would be easy. My daughter is from a prior relationship, and although I was never married to him I was with him for 6 years. It was a tough relationship. So I knew being married is a choice. One that is made each day over and over agian. I wouldn't trade my husband for anything. We live in a house that is way too small on an income that is way too small. So we have stress. Plus I go to school and the kids are still small enough to require major attention. He works midnights and I work days. There are times that we only see eachother when we bicker. But under it all there is a love like no other. I am actually now following the flylady.net routine. At least the general idea. So far it has made a huge difference and my husband is dedicated to making the change together. We are reinventing the way the family lives day to day. So far, stress is already lighter.
Lazy B that sounds great! The two of you working together to change how the family lives day to day is teamwork at it's best! I think very highly of the flylady and actually have a post planned about her. I'm glad you have found something that seems to work for you.
Thankfully I haven't been in a bad relationship in my life. We work hard on our marriage and love every minute of it. God has blessed me with my man! Sounds like you have been blessed too!
