I’m making breakfast for dinner tonight. That’s my all-time favorite thing to cook!!! It’ll be German pancakes, fried eggs and bacon. YUM!
we are ordering pizza! the child we sponsored from Belarus leaves tomorrow morning after 6 weeks with us and that’s what she wants.
I am using the leftover chipotle roast from last night’s dinner to make beef stroganoff. I’ll have buttery carrots on the side.

leftovers — we need to clean out the frig. i since i guess we are not wasting leftovers, we are saving money!!
Roast. I’m stripping many years and many layers of paint off the kitchen cabinets, so everything is a shambles, but the crock pot is my friend!
I’m making chicken nuggets using the chicken pieces I got from Angel Food. We will have mashed potatoes and carrots on the side both of which came in my Angel Food box!
Salad and I may pick some blueberries from the back yard…..
I am solo these days -my boys are with their dad for the summer:(
We are having homemade chicken strips, mashed potatoes & gravy, corn, and rolls.
I am making tacos for dinner. Brown some ground beef, and set out the toppings and everyone is happy!
We are having Corn and Crab soup. We found a $6 rebate for any beef, seafood, or chicken purchase. We bought 2 packages of crab meat for $5.99 at Publix. After the $6 rebate we paid $2.99 for each package of crab.

Huckleberry pancakes!
Steak fajitas, on the grill. my nieces love to help chop the peppers and onions, marinating the steak for a couple hours & toss it all on to the grill, quick & easy & little clean up. plus we get veggies 7 a kid friendly meal, where they make their own dinner.
Steak on the Grill if it doesn’t rain! Seems like it has rained everyday around dinner time and it is making me grumpy not being able to grill. It just doesn’t taste the same in the oven. I will also be making Basil Smashed Potato Pancakes and Strawberry Yum Yum for dessert!
buffalo wings, onion rings and salad.
Tonight? We get to go to my mother in laws for dinner–how great is that? Probably having steak, potatoes, sweet potatoes, salad, green beans, rolls (a little on the burned side)–and pizza for the kids!
It’s already in the crockpot!
BBQ Drumsticks, rice and stir fry veggies. Yum!
My girl and I are having cheese, crackers, yogurt and fruit. It’s just to hot to cook.
We’re having grilled steak, corn on the cob, salad and some kind of potatoes.
One of my favs – chicken marinaded in light Italian dressing & grilled then plated with fresh spinach leaves and fettucine with a bit of spaghetti sauce on top! YUM!
Potato soup!
Something easy tonight, pasta with meatballs and a salad. Watching three extra kids, and sometime will have to pick our dog up from the vet after having surgery, so I needed quick and easy!
Bar-b-que pulled pork from the crock pot! I love dinner that cooks itself while I am at work!
Mezza (appetizers) for dinner — hummus and pita, tomatoes, cheese, cucumbers, olives, etc. Easy, healthy, and my kids love it.
Tonight is Raspberry Chipolte Pork Chops with Roasted potatoes and asparagus
Wednesday nights are leftovers in our house. So you have your choice of chicken pot pie, mashed potatoes and peas and/or fettuccine alfredo.
Spaghetti with meat sauce…freshly grated parmasan cheese and garlic bread.
Today is hot and steamy in NJ, so for dinner it will be Hamburger Helper Crunchy Taco! My kids favorite! Quick easy and 1 pan to clean!!
I am making Chicken Tortilla Soup! The chicken is cooking right now in chicken broth in the crockpot. It’s my ultimate lazy mom trick. Anytime a recipe calls for cooked chicken, I cook it in the crockpot and then it is super tender and delicious! I joined the grocery game this week and saved $82.00 at Publix after spending $99.00. I saved almost as much as I spent and I bought lots of yummy, healthy ingredients like chicken and avocado, and Mexican cheese. ALL ON SALE. Hence, tortilla soup tonight!
Teriyaki chicken and date kabobs with broccoli. Got the chicken half off and the veggies too.
Old fashioned grilled cheese sandwiches!!!
Sadly, the Three Muskateer chocolate bar I ate a little bit ago….oh, and the guilt from eating it. The latter was harder to swallow.
We had jumbo corn dogs and french fries. One of the kids favs and super easy. We all win. Plus summertime lemonade.
We are having spaghetti and homemade meatballs. My son eats the meatballs with sauce on the side for dipping and my daughter eats the spaghetti with butter and grated cheese. My husband and I eat both!
Shell pasta with white sauce, corn on the cob (my FAVORITE!!) and fruit (grapes and cherries).
Taco salad – super easy and no one complains. I can even feed the baby the avocado and cooked zucchini!
We had pumpkin curry, steamed veggies, fruit, and biscuits. Then for dessert we had gluten free brownies and ice cream.
Fish sticks. See, I need help!
We had really yummy BLTs locally grown veggies. It isn’t summer time without a BLT.
