Confessions of a Lazy Mom

I have a confession. I am a Lazy Mom. And, I’m thinking you might have some confessions of your own. After I do my confessing, use our Mr. Linky to link back to your blog to give your own confessions. It can be on any topic under the moon. Or, if you don’t have a blog, leave us a comment. Misery loves company so I can’t wait to hear your dirty little secrets.- I love a pretty yard, but I NEVER do the yard work.
- I would rather pay someone to pot my plants than do it myself. They can do such a better job, but I feel particulary lazy about this one since it’s not very hard to do.
- To save money, my husband has started mowing the yard himself, but I haven’t given up the cleaning lady. I know I should. That would be fair play, but I can’t!
- I’m a yard snob. I totally judge a book by it’s cover. I know I shouldn’t, but I do. When I see a yard full of weeds, I assume that the people on the inside are messy, overweight and lazy. Did I just say that outloud? OMG..I’m feeling a little embarrassed. It’s terrible to see it in print, but it’s true. I’m going to need to work on this one.
Ok, what are your confessions? Don’t leave me hanging! We really need your help. Our chapter summary is due at the publishers soon. We really want to include your stories. Remember when LML told us her story about her son pooping and her Santa Claus story? We want to hear your funny stories. Who knows, it might make it into the book! Use our Mr. Linky below to link back to your site or leave a comment.

I’ve only been a mom for four months but I’ve been lazy a loooong time! My lazy confession is that when my daughter gets fussy, and I have a whole pile of things I need to do, I just put her in the sling. That way I have her close to me and I still have two free hands–which sometimes end up getting manicured while she’s right there beside me!
if i have company coming over and have piles of papers on my counters or kitchen table, i load them up in a laundry basket and hide it in my room with the door closed. i have also been known to hide soaking pots and pans from the sink in my oven.
nicole – that’s not lazy … that’s just smart! enjoy your little one.
