Do it Yourself, Darling!

I have three daughters.  Along with daughters comes drama, tears, hormones and loads and loads of laundry!  I have been battling the laundry ever since I can remember.  My kids throw everything in the laundry basket, whether it is dirty or not.  If they try it on and decide not to wear it, they throw it in the basket.  If they wear it for1 hour and it’s not dirty, they throw it in the basket.

Before we get to the winners, here are a few thoughts on the week.  You Lazy Moms don’t have nearly as many parenting tips as you do housekeeping tips.  Could it be that raising kids is just plain hard? 

Secondly, we can tell how people find our site through a reporting tool.  Someone googled “naked moms” and it took them to our site.  We thought this was really funny, because we will NOT be getting naked for you EVER!

Periodically, we are going to be showing you some “Ten Minute Tasks” on this blog.  Why a “Ten Minute Task”?  As Lazy Moms, we become easily overwhelmed and sometimes just don’t know where to start.  The task before us appears to be a mountain, when in reality it is more of a molehill.  The Lazy Moms are going to show you just how much you can get accomplished in 10 minutes.  We will take a before picture of the “mountain” in our own home, set our timer for 10 minutes, …

Recently I was invited to a luncheon for a young Mom who is looking at moving to our town for her husband’s job.  The purpose of the luncheon was for her to get to know some other Moms her age and to answer any questions she might have.  It was a fabulous idea.  I wish someone could have done that for me.
