If your yard is uneven and you need to level it, just spread some inexpensive sand as best you can. Make sure to do this right before a big rain. The rain will carry the sand to the low points in your yard and do the hard work for you! Thanks Mother Nature! – Tip Submitted by Pattie S.

Plant perennials in your flower beds. Perennials come back each spring so you don’t have to replant, as you do with annuals. Perennials come in lots of different colors and they bloom at all different times. If you plan correctly, you can have color blooming in your beds all spring and summer long.

Curb appeal. It’s something we all want for our homes (we think), but not something we all achieve (we know!). These Lazy Moms are yard people. We love a manicured lawn and colorful flowerbed.
